I've been too bewildered by the sheer volume of ink flowing over this in the past couple of days to write anything myself, but I wish people weren't so dramatic about things. I'm truly saddened to see Mowser go, but I know you two are damn brilliant guys and have no worries you'll be back on your feet sooner than later. On the other hand, I'm excited to see how much discussion it's opened on whether the definition of the mobile web needs to be updated. A few got their knickers in a twist, Valleywag was vile as usual. But at least it got people who don't usually think about mobile to spend some time evaluating where they stand nowadays. And the mobile ecosystem is about much more than just mobile web or not, it's about mobility, mobile services. About the fact that people are mobile. And I've heard that some people still use SMS;-) Some people even run successful businesses around that. Anyway, all of this is what makes the mobile such an interesting business.
