Hi Mike,

I have a Nokia E62 on Cingular, and didn't bother installing the patch, as I am not using any of the applications on the phone that would require it (mostly the calendar I guess). With this the phone picked up the time from the network, as it should.

Hi Mike,
I thought (hoping against hope) that using "network time update" would solve this whole issue. This morning I my phone was one hour off. I thought the time update from Cingular didn't go through so I rebooted the time with no change. I switched from manual time input back to network time but nothing changed.
I then removed all my calender appointments, corrected the time manually, and then resynced. Now, all the appointments are one hour off.
It seems as if I really, really need to apply the patch.
