As if you were dialing a phone number, and the firmware version will come up in a dialog box.</description>

		<description>Have you experimented with BlackBerry? With original firmware (1.x) BlackBerry e-mail worked fine (fairly instant) and the connection stayed open in the background. With the 3.x firmware, I must pull all mail from pop accounts and the &quot;connection&quot; does not remain active.

Anyway, curious if you have had success. 

Also, I do enjoy your blog ...
