Ripping mobility from the clutches of telecom
Another Linux Based Mobile – ROAD
A friend just pasted me this in IRC, the ROAD HandyPC. It’s aimed straight at the Nokia Communicator it seems. WiFi, quad band cellular, bluetooth, looks like a very nice inside screen, camera, full keyboard. Anyone have any more news about the device from the developer side? Open platform on top of Linux? Can we write aps that run native on the device? The E61 is great for now, but I’m definitely still looking for the next step in the evolution. Maybe the 770 will grow a cellular interface instead and save me the trouble.
